Website design

Read the confirmed website brief and reuse decisions already made. Do not restart the business interview.

Inspect the brief, actual content, existing site and supplied assets. Let the business and audience inform the design rather than selecting a fashionable look by default.

Choose a clear visual direction. Establish type hierarchy, a small color palette, spacing, image treatment and a consistent approach to controls. Use the design-system skill when these decisions need more attention.

Make the opening screen communicate the real offer and main action. Choose content order from the visitor's questions. Give important information room to stand out.

Build the agreed pages on the selected platform with the tools available. Favor a maintainable structure the owner can update. A simple information site need not become an application with accounts or a custom database.

Use meaningful document structure, readable type, clear control states, responsive layout and appropriate imagery. Motion should support understanding and have a reduced-motion alternative.

For changes to an existing site, preserve the functions and content outside the requested scope. Do not replace the business identity merely to satisfy a preferred style.

Inspect the rendered phone and desktop results if possible, including long headings, navigation and image cropping. Deliver the actual implementation or usable files, and distinguish any unrendered design assumptions from observed results.

If a required capability is missing, follow tool setup. Read these instructions as text when persistent skill registration is unavailable. Keep business-specific notes in the project, not in this reusable bundle.
